Barreto SG30 Stump Grinder

An offshoot of the dependable TK track trencher, the 30SG stump grinder features a variant of the same time-tested track drive platform used by the TK series. The 30SG has a hydraulically-driven cutter wheel that is raised and lowered into the stump and then moved from side to side to cut down. The 30SG power options consist of a 31 HP Briggs & Stratton vanguard v-twin or a 26.5 HP Kohler EFI engine. The engine is coupled to two gear pumps: the larger gear pump drives the cutter wheel and the smaller pump works the tilt and swing cylinders. The tracks are driven by independent hydrostatic pumps mounted on the rear of the engine for easy access and simple linkage control. Counterbalance valves on each track drive prevent the track motors from slipping while the cutter wheel is engaged in the cutting process, even while operating on a slope.

RAYCO RG27 SUPER JR STUMP CUTTER

There’s a Super Jr model to fit every job and every budget. The Super Jr comes with gasoline engine power options of 27 HP (20.1 kW) and 37 HP (27.6 kW). To maximize visibility while cutting, all Super Jr’s have the drivetrain located on the far side of the cutter wheel. Rayco’s exclusive, swing-out control station gives operators the best view while cutting and swings in line with the machine for travel through gates. Wide, floatation tires with bar tread give the Super Jr a firm grip on the terrain, and dual wheels can be added for extra stability. Rayco’s exclusive slewing ring pivot design lowers the center of gravity and lets the Super Jr cut at maximum depth across the whole swing path.
